Kick off time
Not one for the 3pm traditionalists…
It’s a Sunday lunchtime kick off for this match at 1:30pm
Is it on TV?
Surprisingly, the match is not actually on TV.
The only reason the game is on Sunday is thanks to Everton’s progression in the Europa League – with the Toffees having played a tough fixture in Croatia against Hajduk Split on Thursday.
The fixture between Chelsea and Everton was originally penned in for Saturday, but was moved a day back to accommodate Ronald Koeman’s side.
The team news is positive for Chelsea – with the only player expected to be unavailable through injury being Eden Hazard.
Gary Cahill will also miss the Everton clash through suspension after his red card against Burnley, but Cesc Fabregas is expected to return to the Chelsea set-up after missing the win over Spurs.
Everton, on the other hand, do carry a couple of injury concerns.
Davy Klaassen will definitely miss the match with a knock – and Sandro Ramirez is also a doubt for the Toffees.
Idrissa Gueye, however, could return after missing their midweek Europa League game against Hajduk Split.
