Hammers legend Frank McAvennie makes his first visit to the London Stadium

“I’m really looking forward to getting back here for a few games next season and meeting up with the fans again.”

“Everyone is pleased to be back in training. I’m happy to see the boys again and to see everyone. I think everyone is the same; we’re all pleased to see our teammates.”

“I can’t wait for the start of the season now. It’s all about hard work and preparation and we are all focused on the fitness level and building up to be 100 per cent by the start of the season.
“I’ve been in Austria a few times for pre-season and we need to work hard to make sure we’re 100 per cent fit for the start of the season.
“We will play a few games, including an interesting game against Manchester City which is our final game before we start the competition, the Premier League, so it will be a good test for us.”
