Chelsea fans have taken to social media after it was announced that Premier League teams have voted for the transfer window to close before the first game of the season.
Given previous complaints from managers about the uncertainty surrounding their players, the news has gone down well with the majority of Premier League clubs.
After the new change was voted for by the majority of clubs in the top flight, the 2018 window will close at 17:00 BST on the Thursday before the Premier League season begins.
Although clubs won’t be able to buy players after the deadline has passed, they will be able to sell players until the window closes on August 31 for the majority of European leagues.
While many are pleased with the new change, a number of Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to voice their concerns over the alteration.
A group of fans believe the club will finally do their business much earlier in the transfer window, while some feel that the club could suffer as a result of the change.
Here are what the supporters have had to say after the news broke this afternoon.
