Burnley FC in the Community is encouraging fans to show their support for Sunday’s upcoming Community Day by waving special flags that will be placed on every seat at the Turf Moor stadium.
The flags form part of the wider Community Day celebrations at the game which will include a stadium-wide bucket collection, facepainters, music and information about both Burnley FC in the Community and Pendleside Hospice. Community Day is an annual celebration of the work of Burnley FC in the Community and this year, the charity has partnered up with Pendleside Hospice to bring the day to life.
Fans are also being asked to bring just £1 to the game on Sunday to donate to the two charities. All funds raised from Community Day will be split 50/50 between both Burnley FC in the Community and Pendleside Hospice to support their vital work in the local community.
The official hashtag for the day will be #BFCCommDay. Show your support for Burnley FC in the Community and Pendleside Hospice by using the hashtag on Sunday and by waving your flag as the Clarets walk out!
