Sampdoria have reportedly had a bid rejected for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere – and Gunners fans can’t believe how low their offer was.
Reports in Italy last night suggested that the Serie A club wanted to bring the 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, to Italy next season.
However, it was rumoured that Sampdoria’s initial offer was only £6 million – with an extra £1.5 million in add ons.
That has sent the majority of the Arsenal fanbase on social media in to disbelief, with many not being able to believe that Wilshere is worth such a small amount especially in an inflated transfer market.
There were some Gunners supporters, however, who claimed that they would be happy to see the midfielder leave for the right price, with the 25-year-old never really living up to his vast potential.
