The attacker has been a joy to watch this season

It was a mixed campaign for the Armenian who won two trophies, but he was far from a regular starter, as he got to grips with his new environment following three years with German side Borussia Dortmund.
However, rather than go out and buy another creative attacker in the recent transfer window, Mourinho stuck with him and this season he has been a joy to watch.
Mkhitaryan has been one of the stand out players so far, creating five Premier League goals to help United top the league and make millions of Fantasy Premier League players very happy in the process.
“When I arrived we were in need of some personality and quality that could give us a sense of a personality the club lost in the past years,” Mourinho told The Sunday Times.
As well as Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were signed as he set about rebuilding a team capable of challenging for the game’s biggest prizes.
“Mikhi and Bailly had qualities I thought the team didn’t have. Mikhi took a little bit of time but the team was lacking a player with his multifunctionality in every attacking area. And a fast, strong central defender,” he added, praising Bailly’s personality.”
And Mourinho continued with his rebuilding ahead of the current season, as Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku were signed, with Mourinho calculating that three summers is the required time to get the team back on track and have United working ‘like a perfect machine.’
