Manchester City starlet Jadon Sancho is reportedly set to snub a move to Arsenal in favour of coming to Spurs – but there’s a twist.
The 17-year-old is considered as one of the most exciting prospects in the City academy, but he believes that he won’t get enough chances of first team football with the club.
Sancho only has one year left to run on his current scholarship contract – opening up the possibility of a move away to another club.
And, according to ESPN FC, the youngster has settled on a move to Spurs over rivals Arsenal – but there is a twist which would be stopping any imminent transfer.
Man City would reportedly still have to release Sancho for him to be able to play for Spurs before the end of his current deal without their permission, which the north London side are not confident will happen.
It is believed that City would be due around £3m-£4m in compensation if Sancho were to move elsewhere this window.
