Reports in Italy are claiming a Juventus deal for Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny is nearly done as the Italian giants have managed to offload their second string keeper, according to Gazetta dello Sport.
Juventus have been keen to bring the Poland international to Turin after his impressive performances for Roma during the past two seasons on loan in the Italian captial.
Now, according to another Italian outlet, Calciomercato, Juve have managed to send Neto to Valencia for around £8m, paving the way for them to bring in Szczesny as cover for Gianluigi Buffon,
Juve are now working on a transfer fee to offer Arsenal for the keeper, having already agreed personal terms on a £67,000 a week contract.
The Gunners have reportedly slapped a £13m price tag on Szczesny’s head but the Italian emdia are claiming that a deal could be finalised within the next few days.
