Joe Hart is set to undergo his West Ham medical tomorrow in east London as the club closes in on completing the protracted deal to bring the keeper to the capital.
football.london understands the 30-year-old has already agreed to the terms offered to sign on loan next season and now just needs the medical before the club can announce his signing.
The Hammers have been working on sorting a permanent contract for Hart as well as the loan one, with the club able to trigger that option at any point throughout the loan spell in 2017/18, rather than having to wait until the end of the campaign.
It’s believed West Ham could sign Hart for as little as £10m but would have to pay him £100,000 a week in wages should they want him permanently after his loan spell ends.
Hart will become the second summer signing soon after – should he pass the medical – and join former teammate Pablo Zabaleta as the new arrivals in E20 ahead of the new Premier League.
