Inclusion Coach: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation (MFCF) is the Club’s independent charity set up in 1996 by Chairman Steve Gibson. We use the power of the MFC brand to engage with the community to provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people and adults to maximise their potential to achieve.
MFC Foundation are delivering the Premier League/ BT Sport Disability programme. We are currently looking for candidates who are passionate about disability sport and removing barriers to participation. This exciting role involves delivering an innovative multi-sport programme that provides more opportunities for disabled people to take part in sport and develop skills. The programme runs during the week, and working Sunday mornings is an essential part of the role.
Successful candidates will have relevant experience in a similar role, ideally working with both young people and adults. Candidates should possess a dynamic personality, excellent communication skills and with the ability to work with key stakeholders to achieve successful relationships. A minimum NGB Level 2 in a sports discipline is essential and delivering impairment specific sessions is desirable.
This post falls within the scope of ‘regulated activity’ and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (formerly CRB) check and are required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings that are not ‘protected’ as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exemptions) Act 1975.
