Thibaut Courtois is expecting a stern test from Spurs in the last four of the FA Cup but he is confident Chelsea can reach the final.
The Blues overcame Manchester United in the quarter-finals on Monday to set up a meeting with Spurs at Wembley next month, with Arsenal and Manchester City to contest the other last-four clash.
Chelsea saw off Tottenham in the Premier League in November but the North London outfit came out on top at White Hart Lane at the start of January, ending a 10-match winning run.
After two hard-fought games already this season Courtois is anticipating another close contest when the two sides meet at Wembley in April but he is confident Chelsea can reach the FA Cup final.
“We beat them at home and they beat us away,” he said, as reported by the club’s official website. “They’re a top side and it’s nice for the English league to see four top teams in the semi-finals, I don’t think that’s happened in the last few years so it will be a tough game for us. We are on a good run and we want to reach the final.”
Chelsea travel to Stoke on Saturday and punters may wish to use their free bet to back Antonio Conte’s men to secure a fifth successive victory in all competitions after their 1-0 win over United.
