Chelsea have reportedly made a last ditch offer for Bayern Munich full-back Rafinha before the transfer window shuts tomorrow evening.
The Blues are still looking for a right-back to push Victor Moses in the wing-back role and had a bid for Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain accepted by Arsenal.
However, the player has snubbed the move to Stamford Bridge and according to Bild the Blues are turning their attention to the Bundesliga defender.
Rafinha has become second choice right-back for the German champions this season, playing just over 20 minutes in their opening game of the Bundesliga season.
At 31, Rafinha has just one year left on his contract with Bayern Munich and it is not likely that Chelsea would offer him a long-term deal if he was to join this summer.
The Blues are still looking to bolster their squad before the transfer window shuts, with Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente a likely signing in the next 24 hours.
