The Belgium starred for the Blues during their recent Premier League title win but despite the success, he has been linked with a potential summer move away to Real Madrid.
Los Blancos’ Champions League final win on Saturday reiterated why Hazard might want to move to the Bernabeu, especially having now been at Stamford Bridge for five years.
However, rather than look at other options, the 26-year-old seems content with life in London.
Speaking to the club’s official website, he confirmed his intention to stay and help Antonio Conte’s men in the battle for next season’s Premier League title.
“I’ve spent five years here, I know everything about the club,” he says. “Even if I’m still only 26 I have a lot of experience now. I started playing at 16 in France so I’ve been professional for 10 years.
“I like it here because it’s a family club. I have a lot of friends and we all talk to each other. In terms of games and experience I’m one of the oldest players and that’s good.
“This is my second home and I’m happy at Chelsea. I just want to keep going, maintain this intensity and continue to win trophies.”
Hazard’s next outing is likely to come for Belgium in Monday’s friendly with the Czech Republic and punters may choose to use their free bet to back the Red Devils to win the game.
