The 19-year-old striker has been a revelation while on loan at Championship outfit Bristol City this season when firing home 26 goals, and his form has not gone unnoticed at the Emirates Stadium.
Wenger is keen to bring in at least one more striker in the close season, and reports have suggested he would be confident of luring the England under-21 ace away from Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea counterpart Antonio Conte could have something to say about that, and there is a very good chance that Abraham will be a part of the Italian’s plans going forward.
However, reports in the press claim that Abraham could push for a move if he does not get a chance in the Chelsea first-team squad next season, and the Gunners are keeping an eye on the situation.
Chelsea could look to loan him out again, possibly to a club lower down in the Premier League, and a switch to Arsenal looks highly unlikely for now.
