Chelsea are the closest club to agreeing a deal to sign Alvaro Morata ahead of AC Milan, according to reports.
The Blues have been linked with the Real Madrid star throughout the summer – with reports intensifying after news that Diego Costa could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.
The Spanish interntaional isn’t the only big-name striker linked with Chelsea however, with Andrea Belotti, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sergio Aguero other names mentioned.
However, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Morata is the man that the Blues are closest to – and they are set to beat AC Milan in the race for the striker.
The report suggests that the Serie A giants have set Belotti as their main target, but Torino are asking for too much money as it stands.
Even if the Rossoneri cannot afford Belotti, then they are reportedly lining up Nikola Kalinic to come to the San Siro rather than pursuing a move for Morata.
Chelsea are said to be in the market for a big name striker after rumours that Diego Costa could have played his last game for the club following an apparent fall out with Antonio Conte.
