The Spain international has been told that he no longer fits into the plans of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, despite the striker still having another two years left on his Stamford Bridge contract.
There has been talk of interest from AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and a Chinese Super League team, but it appears Costa will take his time before deciding what will be his next destination.
Speaking to Yahoo Brazil, Costa’s brother Jair insisted there is plenty of options at present but that his younger sibling is unlikely to return to Brazil, saying that would be “very difficult”.
Jair went on to add: “Thankfully Diego has lots of offers, I can’t say how many but they do exist.
“He has great affection for Atletico but right now, there is nothing (official) so we have to wait and see what happens. A move to China? That is very difficult because next year is the World Cup and Diego wants to be there.”
