After Gabriel Paulista sealed a returned to La Liga with Valencia, Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall are likely to follow the Brazilian out of the door on a temporary basis, while Chuba Akpom could make his departure permanent.
The two full-backs have secured season-long loan moves to Harry Redknapp’s Birmingham City, the club confirmed on Monday.
Despite interest from Premier League clubs, Jenkinson is ready to move down a level to get some regular playing time under his belt at St Andrews.
The 25-year-old, who almost joined Crystal Palace back in January, only made five appearances in all competitions for the Gunners last year.
Bramall will also look to gain some regular first-team football at Birmingham after only moving to the club from Hednesford Town at the start of the year.
The left-back impressed during Arsenal’s pre-season tour and he will be hoping to improve his game with a full season in the Championship.
While the full-backs will depart on loan, Akpom looks to be heading out of the club on a permanent basis.
The 21-year-old, who spent last season with Brighton & Hove Albion, is attracting attention from both Leeds United and Celtic.
Leeds are keen to find a replacement for Chris Wood, while the Scottish giants are eyeing up the striker to provide competition for Mousa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.
