Michael Ballack believes Chelsea have a battle on their hands to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
“Obviously he is a different type of player [to what Chelsea have got], he scored the most goals in the Bundesliga and had a fantastic season. Ballack said to talkSport.
“There are a lot of clubs [interested], but also Dortmund want to keep him.
“As you know there’s a lot of money involved and it might be that his targets are higher as well, Chelsea will be playing Champions League but also targeting a win and it could be a target for him too.
“I don’t want to speculate too much, but he could fit in a few teams.”
Ballack is also not concerned by the club’s failure to secure their top transfer targets
“I am not worried,” Ballack added.
“[They are] preparing for next year and, of course, the coach wants to have his players, but I think Chelsea will make sure they have a competitive team next season, not just for the league but the Champions League of course because their targets are high.
“How the team finally looks, [they have] time as well. Of course, the coach [has to] fight for the best team possible.”

Claude Makelele explains how he turned Tiemoue Bakayoko’s career around at Monaco
“I talked with him, cleaned him the way he needed to be free in the head,” Makelele told Goal.
“To play as a midfielder you need to be 100 per cent concentrated. If it’s always a little problem here, little problem there, you can’t focus on your job you know? I talked a lot with him, like a full month with him every day, explaining things on the training ground.
“Focusing on him, not just him, but a lot of players like [Kylian] Mbappe or [Thomas] Lemar who also were on the bench. So when I decided I was leaving, I said to the boss: listen this player needs to play more time, he needs more competition and then you’ll see.
“The next season this happened and it’s like genius no? I think Bakayoko, I don’t know if he’s going to Chelsea or Manchester, but it will be good for him, he’ll be stronger. He has good qualities. He’s good, he needs time and he needs to learn also in the Premier League, as it’s not easy the Premier League.”
