New Arsenal signing Alexandre Lacazette has been named in the Gunners’ 25-man squad for the first leg of their pre-season tour in Australia.
Lacazette could make his debut as early as Thursday when Arsenal face Sydney FC while fellow new signing Sead Kolasinac has also been included.
The two new additions are joined by a host of young players, with Krystian Bielik, Cohen Bramall, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Donyell Malen, Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock all making the trip.
There has been plenty of speculation over the futures of Olivier Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott but the quartet are all included in the travelling party which boarded their flight to Sydney tonight.
Alexis Sanchez, Shkodran Mustafi, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and Hector Bellerin are given an extended break following their international exertions while Wojciech Szczesny, Kieran Gibbs, Mathieu Debuchy, Carl Jenkinson and Lucas Perez are all left at home as they negotiate possible transfers.
