The Brazilian international full back is thought to be on Chelsea’s radar as Antonio Conte looks to increase his option in the wing-back positions.
Despite Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses’ excellent performances in the Blues’ title success last season, Chelsea are still keen to strengthen on either flank and Sandro is one of the main targets on the left hand side.
However, having already seen defender Leonardo Bonucci move to Serie A rivals AC Milan, Juventus are keen not to lose any more of their first team stars and Allegri is adamant the former Porto man will not be going anywhere this summer.
Speaking in Boston after Juve beat Roma in a pre-season friendly, Allegri told PremiumSport: “Alex Sandro? He’s a Juventus player, he’s extraordinary and he won’t leave us.
“He’s improved so much since he came to Juve and he has the margins to improve again. Along with Marcelo, he’s on the best in the world.”
With Sandro seemingly staying in Turin, Chelsea will now move onto other targets. Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has only a year left on his contract, is one player who interests Conte with The Mirror reporting that the Premier League champions could make a move for the England international early next month.
Likewise, Djibril Sidibe of Monaco and Southampton pair Cedric Soares and Ryan Bertrand are also under consideration, but a deal for Sidibe in particular would be difficult given the players Monaco have already sold this summer.
