The talented young duo are as likely as anyone in the youth set up at the Emirates to break through to the first team in the near future, especially Nelson who created an awful lot of buzz around the Gunners fan base.
The two teenagers are yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Gunners but the £52m man doesn’t think it will be long before they are strutting their stuff alongside him in the first team at the Emirates.
Lacazette said of Nelson, who made his senior debut in the Europa League victory over Cologne on Thursday night: “He’s already impressed me during pre-season.
“It’s great to see what he’s been doing for the Under-23s, his stats are very good and he’s performing very well. When he’s played with us he has shown he has real quality.”
And what of Nketiah?
“I really like Eddie Nketiah as well he’s a great striker at the academy. He’s also already impressed me during pre-season.”
