ALBION’s July trip to Hong Kong means the club’s pre-season schedule is now all but full.
Tony Pulis will bring the players back in for training in the first week of July before Wednesday, July 5 sees the squad head for the now familiar retreat in Austria to begin the slog towards Premier League fitness.
Albion are in the first-ever all Premier League quartet of competing clubs made up by Liverpool, Leicester City and Crystal Palace.
The games will be played at the Hong Kong Stadium on Wednesday, July 19 and Saturday, July 22 although the fixture draw has yet to be confirmed.
The Wednesday games will effectively act as semi-finals before the two losing sides meet on Saturday as a prelude to the tournament finale. All games kick off at 18.00 and 20.30 and ticket details will be announced along with the fixture schedule in early June.
When Albion return from Hong Kong on July 23 they will be back in action three days later with the first of three double-headers.
Albion can now confirm another double trip, with two Albion XIs facing Bristol Rovers and Slough Town on Saturday, July 29 (both ko 3pm).
That leaves one more free weekend before the Premier League season gets underway, with the club currently looking at filling the blank with another possible fixture out of the country.
